Onsite Deskside Support Engineer (L1/L2)

Role Summary

The Onsite Deskside Support Engineer (L1/L2) is responsible for providing technical support and performing IMAC activities to ensure seamless IT operations at the Potsdam location.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for SCCM, Microsoft Intune, and ServiceNow platforms.
• Execute IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities efficiently and accurately.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SCCM and Intune configurations.
• Manage ServiceNow tickets and ensure timely resolution of incidents.

Required Qualifications

• SCCM — hands-on experience with managing and troubleshooting SCCM environments.
• Microsoft Intune — proficiency in configuring and supporting Intune for device management.
• ServiceNow — ability to handle ServiceNow tickets and workflows effectively.
• Technical Support — proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in an enterprise environment.
• IMAC Activities — demonstrated expertise in performing hardware and software installations, moves, adds, and changes.

Nice to Have

• Active Directory — familiarity with user and group management in Active Directory.
• EUC Tools — experience with End User Computing tools for device management.
• MS Office — working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Outlook — ability to troubleshoot and support Outlook-related issues.
• VPN Clients — understanding of VPN client configurations and troubleshooting.
• MAC Device Handling — experience in managing and supporting MAC devices.
• Windows OS — knowledge of Windows operating system troubleshooting and support.
• Printers — ability to diagnose and resolve printer-related issues.
• Scanners — experience with scanner setup and troubleshooting.
• Peripheral Devices — familiarity with supporting peripheral devices like keyboards and monitors.
• Antivirus — understanding of antivirus software installation and issue resolution.
• ITIL — knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks.

Location and Working Arrangement

This part-time role is based onsite in Potsdam, Germany, with a morning shift schedule from 10:45 am to 11:30 am. The hourly rate is EUR 25.00.
